Jordan Phosphate Mines Co PLC announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding with China Chong Qing Xi Ao Co. Ltd. to establish an industrial plant for producing fertilizers with $350 million investments as a first stage.

The memorandum of understanding includes establishing industrial plants in Aqaba by the Chinese company for producing fertilizers depending on local inputs, especially Jordanian phosphate and potash.
